The Reality of Hell-John MacArthur
In the modern religions of love and tolerance, in the pseudo-Christianity of our
time, the quasi-evangelicalism of our day, there are many subjects to be avoided, many subjects to be removed, some even to be denied. None more eagerly jettisoned than the reality of hell. This truth of eternal punishment to come on those who do not believe the Gospel savingly is a painful message to preach. I can give you testimony to that. It is not only a painful message to preach, it is a painful message to hear. It is a painful message to process. John MacArthur exposes Rick Warren
About a year and a half ago I wrote a post exposing the heresy and lies of the 
uber-popular so-called “Christian” book, The Purpose Driven Life. You can revisit that post here, and you can read about the many spiritually dangerous, not to mention, potentially fatal escapades of the so-called “Christian” Pastor Hireling Rick Warren here, here, and here.
In my post, I barely scratched the surface of Rick Warren’s false gospel. In today’s post, Pastor-Teacher John MacArthur exposes the lies for all to plainly see. If you are entangled in Rick Warren’s another gospel, which by the way is no gospel at all according to Galatians 1:6-7, repent and believe the truth of God’s word the true gospel.

What the bible says about hell…
In today’s postmodern, question everything, “what is truth?”, “It can’t be
defined”, “I don’t know…” society we live in ,you knew it would only be a matter of time before the doctrine of hell would be questioned. pastor Hireling Rob Bell’s book opened the floodgate of questions from young, semi-reformed, neo Calvinistic, “questioners” who wouldn’t know the nature of God from the nature of a field mouse. And I can say that because its obvious, they don’t even hold scripture (Sola Scriptura) as God’s only authority to man. So why wouldn’t they doubt and question everything written within it.

To be honest I wish these guys would go start their own religion. They could call it “Questionism”. Where a bunch of spiritual cockroaches come together (for their own glory) and question any and everything they can, and leave God’s word alone….

An Ode to the black church…
“At that very hour some Pharisees came and said to him, “Get away from here,
for Herod wants to kill you.” And he said to them, ”Go and tell that fox, ‘Behold, I cast out demons and perform cures today and tomorrow, and the third day I finish my course. Nevertheless, I must go on my way today and tomorrow and the day following, for it cannot be that a prophet should perish away from Jerusalem.’ O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the city that kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to it! How often would I have gathered your children together as a hen gathers her brood under her wings, and you would not! Behold, your house is forsaken. Ode to the black church…
When the word of God is taught/preached in a complete and sound method (expository), you will always have those who obfuscate the truth. Meaning they will purposely teach and lead their listeners into confusion and error. They do not present what the bible says with clarity and understanding to bless those who hear it. But again they pose as real God-fearing, bible believing teachers, when in reality they are nothing more than spiritual dung beetles who desire the spotlight. Read more
The times are changing, but The Message should not…
The times are changing. And contrary to what modern day “profits” are
propagating times are not changing for the better. If you just open your eyes and look around you will see that this world we live in is drastically different than it was 20 years ago. I’m sure those who made that assessment then could say the same about 20 years prior to them. We live in a different, dangerous, and scary time. Not only is the world becoming more and more sinful. But the church is becoming more and more worldly, thus becoming more and more sinful as well. The world in its depraved state needs life but those who hold the key to that life have been unfaithful in presenting it.
I’m sure (or at least I hope) that you guys know what key I’m speaking of. For its the very key that unlocked eternal life for you and for me. That key is the Gospel Message. No one was, is, or will be saved without it. Paul said this:
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.” Romans 1:16 Read more

COGIC Bishop Blake still hasn’t learned….
If you have been a reader of this blog for a while then you should know that I
was raised Church of God in Christ. Because of COGIC’s failure to uphold the standards of righteousness (along with a dump truck full of other reasons: mainly a failure to teach sound biblical doctrine) I left the Church of God in Christ. At this time, most of my extended family is still a part of that church, however that matters not to me. I only share this with you for your benefit, so that you can’t accuse me of being an outsider yelling over a fence.

Church Pimping and its harmful consequences….
At my former church, Childress Memorial Church of God in Christ, a common
practice from the pulpit was to weight down the people with the guilt of not “giving” enough money to satisfy their “requirement” to God. (Whatever that meant) It wasn’t uncommon to have the preacher, Elder, or Pastor leading the offering, to beat Malachi 3:8 over the heads of the people and employ strong scare tactics to coerce people into giving their money.
How do I know? Well, because many of those times I would be the one up there taking scriptures out of context while also mis-leading the people into believing that their giving was somehow an indication of their salvation. Yes….I played a part in that deception. I have no excuse, I take all the blame. I have no one I could blame anyways. God’s word is complete and ready for us to study. It was my fault that I hadn’t taken the time and thoroughly studied God’s word.
