a man totally committed to the sufficiency of Christ and the sufficiency of Scripture…

Following Christ, forsaking everything else, and speaking the truth via this blog has already cost me so much. It has cost me friends, opportunities, and chances to pursue things I’m gifted in and loved to do. For the record the majority of my family still has nothing to do with me and most of them think I have a demon or that I’m crazy. Why do I tell you guys this? Because I want to prove a point: True love for people will cost you. If you look at the cross it cost Jesus His life. If you do some research on the fate of almost all the apostles, it cost them their lives as well. Speaking the truth may invoke instant death if the Lord has ordained it to be so, just look at the short yet powerful ministry of Stephen, one of the early church deacons in Acts chapters 6 and 7. 

I came from a church (Childress Memorial COGIC) where the gospel wasn’t preached. So when I saw this video I immediately became sick to my stomach and filled with anguish:

This Scripture came to my mind:

“For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!” But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed what he has heard from us?” So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.” Romans 10:13-17

The bible clearly teaches that evangelism goes like this: People cannot call upon a Savior they’ve never heard about. So, preachers are to spread the truth of the gospel so that people can hear it and believe it. I am using very simple language because this process is very simple. People cannot be saved unless they hear and believe the gospel message. The 4 rhetorical questions Paul asked in Romans 10 confirms this. 

False teacher!!!

Sadly, many who read this post have been spoon fed a constant diet of this garbage for years and as a result they are inoculated from the truth and are completely unaware that anything is wrong. Sadly, many who read this post crave a constant diet of this garbage. Sadly again, many people reading this post will have the fruit of this garbage which is an eternity in hell!

To the person who may be understanding that according to Scripture I’m Speaking Truth: When will you run to Christ? When will you forsake the shackles of this false teaching foolishness and feast on the pure milk of the word of God? When will you come to Christ in repentance and faith in His work on the cross? When?????

Let let me stop, for the word of God says this:

“Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst. But I said to you that you have seen me and yet do not believe. All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never cast out. For I have come down from heaven, not to do my own will but the will of him who sent me. And this is the will of him who sent me, that I should lose nothing of all that he has given me, but raise it up on the last day. For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who looks on the Son and believes in him should have eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day.”

So the Jews grumbled about him, because he said, “I am the bread that came down from heaven.” They said, “Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? How does he now say, ‘I have come down from heaven’?” Jesus answered them, “Do 

not grumble among yourselves. No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him. And I will raise him up on the last day. It is written in the Prophets, ‘And they will all be taught by God.’ Everyone who has heard and learned from the Father comes to me—not that anyone has seen the Father except he who is from God; he has seen the Father. Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes has eternal life. I am the bread of life. Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and they died. This is the bread that comes down from heaven, so that one may eat of it and not die. I am the living bread that came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever. And the bread that I will give for the life of the world is my flesh.” John 6:35-51

Many of you won’t come for you do not seek the bread of life, Christ Jesus the Savior from your sins. You seek Jesus for the abundant life here on earth, you want the food (money, power, respect: the lust of the eyes, the lust of the flesh, and the pride of possessions) that perishes. You want exactly what Paul Morton preaches and in doing so you prove the words of Christ to be true:

No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him……
