Benny “I touch, you (better) fall” Hinn
Benny Hinn, who has supposedly “slayed” more in people in the name of “christ”
than anybody I know, is a noted huckster of the word and merchandiser of God’s people. Sadly this man is idolized, honored, and revered as a humble bible teacher while having abosolutely no knowledge of who God is or His word.
He dupes biblically ignorant people into giving him all their money right after he puts them into a sort of trans state. In this state he is able to manipulate them to respond emotionally to any demand he makes. Watch as he even gets his son, daughter, and wife into the “act”.
I actually feel so sorry for these kids who are being manipulated just as the thousands of others who buy into this crap are. I want to make a couple of quick points:
1. Who is Benny Hinn that he can tell someone whether or not they will believe the gospel and follow Jesus Christ? Benny Hinn is nobody. The only One with that kind of Authority is God. He is the only One who calls sinners to repentance. Not even Paul claimed to be able to change someones heart. He merely acknowledge that he was part of the sowing process:
“What then is Apollos? What is Paul? Servants through whom you believed, as the Lord assigned to each. I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the growth. So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God who gives the growth.” 1 Corinthians 3:5-7
2. What does pushing people and them hitting the floor have to do with being saved?
Nothing but a whole lot of foolishness. This is what goes on in most Pentecostal, Charismatic churches.
3. Notice Hinn uses no scripture whatsoever as he is so called “Preaching”….
This is nothing new, most Pentecostal church members don’t care what the bible says about something their pastor has already taught them. “God told me this” and “God told me that” trumps scripture all the time. Even the Pentecostals who do have somewhat sound doctrine (there are not many of them) fall into this category.
4. Who gave Benny Hinn the authority to cancel any of satans plans? If he can really do that then he should be able to bind all the evil that is influenced by satan in the world. (Hint: Benny Hinn can’t do anything but deceive people by the barrel full.)
5. What does “fire on you Joshy” mean?
6. If Benny Hinn is so “Anointed” then why wasn’t he able to keep his marriage together? Don’t forget his divorce (well his doctrine actually did this a long time ago) has disqualified him from the ministry. (1 Timothy 3:1-4)
Stop being fooled by this charlatan. Jesus made it very clear:
“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing but
inwardly are ravenous wolves. You will recognize them by their fruits. Are grapes gathered from thornbushes, or figs from thistles?” Matthew 7:15-16

Minister Davison, thank you so much for your obedience to God and His word. As I was reading this article, I thought about how at one time I was a follower of Benny Hinn, attending many crusades and meetings and now I just Thank God for opening my spirtual eyes so that I will no longer be deceived by the enemy. At one time I thought something was wrong with me when I read the Word and then attend churches that do contrary to what God’s word says. I just couldn’t understand it. Now I realize what I was reading was the Truth and these so-called pastors/bishops were false teachers and all they wanted was their multi- million dollar home, expensive cars, clothing and jewerly. It is so sad that people allow themselves to be manipulated and deceived and when you share with them the Truth, they look at you like you are crazy. It is as though their pastor/bishop is their god. I will never understand how Eddie Long still pastors a church and people actually attend. As G. Craige says these pastors/bishops are just a catalyst for carnality. May God continue to bless you and family.
Ms. Gibson-I know exactly what you mean when you thought you was crazy because everybody else in church received the error but you couldn’t. I remember asking myself that very same question one day. “Brandon, are you crazy….” I remember all my church friends has a intervetion meeting where they all jumped on me for what I was doing. I was so ready to give up For a while I was all by myself. Not even my wife received what I had to say, and friends turned their backs on me daily. But thank God he never left me and gave me a awesome mentor (Pastor Foster from GCMWATCH) who looked out for me.

They provide a form of godliness but deny the power of salvation. They are a curse to those who receive them….a curse

What is point number 1 in reference to?
I’m not sure what you are asking Calvin….Point one is giving solid teaching about who calls sinners to be saved. No man has that kind of power. We are but messengers charged to preach the gospel (2 Tim. 4).
In the video Benny tells the men that their children “shall serve the Lord” , My bible says this concerning salvation:
“For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9
We are saved by the grace (unearned, undeserved favor) of God. By our faith in the work of His Son Jesus Christ on the cross. Not a result of works. Benny claims that they (the kids) shall be saved. So then if the kids do come to salvation (which is highly doubtful) then Hinn will be able to say. “Hey these kids are saved because I prophesied it.” This would be a form of boasting which the scripture clearly forbids.
Jesus was quite clear on who comes to Him:
“No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him. And I will raise him up on the last day.” John 6:44
